Do you struggle with finding motivation and direction in life? If so, you’re not alone. In today’s fast-paced society, many men struggle with underachievement and the feeling that they’re not reaching their goals. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the factors that contribute to underachievement in men and provide practical steps for overcoming these challenges and achieving success.

In today’s society, there is a growing concern about the state of underachieving men. These men are often viewed as unmotivated, lazy, and lacking direction in life. Despite the abundance of opportunities available to them, they struggle to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

The Definition of Underachieving Men

Underachieving men are those who fail to meet their potential, despite possessing the necessary skills, abilities, and resources to do so. They often struggle to find direction in life and may lack the motivation to pursue their goals. These men may be intelligent, but they fail to apply themselves in a way that leads to success. Underachieving men can be found in all walks of life, from students who perform poorly in school to professionals who are unable to advance in their careers.

The Factors That Contribute to Underachievement

There are many factors that contribute to underachievement in men. One of the most significant factors is a lack of motivation. Underachieving men may lack the drive to pursue their goals, or they may feel overwhelmed by the challenges they face. This lack of motivation can be caused by a variety of factors, including low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.

Another factor that contributes to underachievement is a lack of direction. Underachieving men may not have a clear sense of what they want to achieve in life, or they may lack the skills and resources necessary to pursue their goals. This lack of direction can lead to a sense of apathy and a lack of motivation.

The Impact of Modern Society on Underachieving Men

The modern world can be a challenging place for underachieving men. The pace of life is faster than ever before, and there are more distractions and temptations than ever before. Social media, video games, and other forms of entertainment can be major distractions for underachieving men, causing them to lose focus and motivation.

The modern economy can also be challenging for underachieving men. In today’s job market, there is a growing demand for skilled workers, and those without the necessary skills and qualifications may struggle to find work. This can lead to a sense of hopelessness and despair, which can further contribute to underachievement.

Overcoming Underachievement

Despite the challenges that underachieving men face, it is possible to overcome underachievement and reach one’s full potential. One of the keys to overcoming underachievement is to find a sense of purpose and direction in life. This may involve setting goals, developing a plan of action, and seeking the support of others.

Another important factor in overcoming underachievement is to develop the necessary skills and qualifications to succeed. This may involve going back to school, seeking professional development opportunities, or pursuing a mentorship with someone who has achieved success in their field.

Actionable Steps

If you’re an underachieving man looking to improve yourself and reach your full potential, there are several actionable steps you can take. Here are some solid strategies to consider:

Eat a healthy diet that includes protein-rich foods like meat and eggs. These foods can provide the energy and nutrients your body needs to stay focused and productive throughout the day.

Incorporate regular exercise into your routine. Whether it’s hitting the gym, going for a run, or doing yoga, exercise can help boost your energy levels, reduce stress, and improve your overall health.

Make a habit of reading at least 10 pages per day. Reading can help expand your knowledge, improve your vocabulary, and stimulate your brain.

Develop a morning routine that sets a positive tone for the day ahead. This could include meditation, stretching, journaling, or simply taking a few moments to reflect on your goals and intentions for the day.

Consider going “monk mode” for a period of time. This means cutting out distractions like social media, TV, and video games and focusing solely on your personal development and goals.

Don’t shy away from menial jobs or tasks. Sometimes, the best way to gain experience and build skills is by starting at the bottom and working your way up.

Set clear goals and create a plan for achieving them. This could involve breaking down larger goals into smaller, more manageable steps and tracking your progress along the way.

Save up. Lump sums are what matters. Don’t go buying everything you want but don’t need. Be a minimalist until you have lump sums of cash that can be used to buy real estate or other assets.

Rember that these will create momentum and compound. Plus looking masculine and lean will help you get a lot of opportunities. Don’t use this time to get girls.

Conclusion

In conclusion, underachieving men face many challenges in today’s society. These challenges can include a lack of motivation, direction, and the impact of modern society. However, with the right mindset, support, and resources, it is possible to overcome underachievement and reach one’s full potential. By taking action and developing a plan of action, underachieving men can achieve success in their personal and professional lives.

As I’ve said before, the term SMV is highly misleading, it should be called just Value instead. A man with a high SMV is valuable. Period.

As you increase your SMV, not just attraction but the quality of your entire life goes up → every male celebrity or professional athlete who started off as an ugly duckling is glaring evidence of this.

Rollo’s Sexual Market Value (SMV) graph for men vs women illustrates the Male Advantage (MA) beautifully.

![](https://miro.medium.com/max/875/0*smZM4aRG0WX_olh-.jpeg =700x344)

As the name suggests, women don’t have the MA → their SMV, standing, and “value” in society are largely dependent on their looks.

What more evidence than the Instagram models who are minting money off their OnlyFans?

Sure, there are brilliant women spearheading research and building companies. But very few men ever go, “Damn! She built a million-dollar company. That’s so hot!”

This Comes Down to Our Evolutionary Wiring

Since women have a high biological cost of sex (9 months of pregnancy plus having to care for the child), they are wired to be picky about who they choose.

While men on the other hand have a very low biological cost (theoretically, one ejaculation can impregnate hundreds of women), we’re driven to spread our seed as far and wide as possible.

In other words, men prefer quantity and women prefer quality.

Add the fact that a woman is rendered largely helpless while carrying a baby and needs someone to care for her and her kids (females are genetically the weaker sex), men need to be providers and protectors as well.

What All This Adds up To

**This means that for men, attraction is largely about a woman’s _looks. _**Sure, a good personality, hobbies, character, etc. weigh in, but they’re minuscule. And that’s a choice.

You might choose to date or marry a well-rounded woman but a zero-personality super-modelesque woman is the one that’s going to get your sex drive racing.

But for women, attraction is defined by a host of things → Sense of humor, confidence, personality, risk-taking ability, grooming, fitness, daring, discipline, and well, looks too.

Why I Called It a Curse

Now, this is great right, any man can put in the work, climb into the top 20% of men and reap the results. — Basically, achieve a life of purpose and abundance?

In theory, yes. But the reason even the MA exists and high-value men get to relish such an amazing lifestyle is because of the bottom 80% of men. But if this were possible, why aren’t most men doing it?

For two reasons → Firstly, most don’t know about the MA. Secondly and majorly, most don’t want to put in the work.

In a world of instant gratification, putting in real work and delaying gratification for years and decades is by no means easy.

This is the curse → most women can ride the age wave (late-teen and early twenties) and experience what it means to be at the top. But men? Nada, it takes work to reach the top and very few of us are willing to do that.

Testament to this is the fact that 85% of women on dating apps find only the top 10 or 15% of men attractive.

For men, below-average literally means the bottom 80 or 85%, not the bottom 50% as the definition of average goes.

Make It a Boon

By giving you this information, I’ve solved half the problem → the other half is on you. Do you want to experience the MA or not?

If you shook your head in a vigorous yes, start right now.

Join the gym and start building a 10/10 aesthetic physique. This will take a shit ton of work.

Go out, talk to people, and improve your social skills. Read books if you’re totally socially inept. Ask out women, develop a thick skin to rejection, and get better and more confident at this.

Learn skills, get a job, start a business, invest smartly, and start side hustles. Build your wealth one brick at a time.

2. Optimize Your Sleep

Here are some tips by Dr. Huberman:

High-quality sleep is critical! Sleep is the foundation of mental health, cognitive health, and performance

Viewing direct morning sunlight within 30-60 minutes of waking will help you fall asleep and stay asleep at night, and optimize cortisol & adenosine levels

Layer in multiple levers to be more alert: morning sunlight viewing, increasing body temperature, delaying caffeine, movement/exercise upon waking, light breakfast

Stack the deck to give your body predictable autonomic timing and properly set circadian rhythm to optimize sleep and wakefulness – even if you’re tired, exercise a little (doesn’t have to be intense) and eat a light breakfast, etc.

Avoid overhead fluorescent light as much as possible between 10 pm-4 am – these lights will eliminate melatonin circulating in the brain & body and will hinder the ability to fall and stay asleep (instead, try soft lamps and dim screens as much as possible without straining eyes)

Viewing afternoon sunlight from sunset can help offset some of the negative effects of light viewing in the evening (10 pm-4 am)

Try to maintain a consistent sleep/wake schedule (+/- 1 hour) 7 days a week!

When all else fails, try this sleep stack cocktail (buy single ingredient supplements so you can use what works, ditch what doesn’t): magnesium threonate (145mg, 30-60 minutes before bed) + theanine (100-400mg, 30-60 minutes before bed) + apigenin (50mg, 30-60 minutes before bed)

Sleep apnea can have very damaging effects on sleep and health – train nasal breathing with these methods: (1) use medical tape to tape your mouth shut during sleep; (2) practice nasal breathing only during light exercise/cardio bouts

Remember

Best nootropic: sleep

Best stress-relief: sleep

Best trauma release: sleep

Best immune booster: sleep

Best hormone augmentation: sleep

Best emotional stabilizer: sleep

3. Build Focus

Some more tips from Dr. Huberman:

Epinephrine/adrenaline, acetylcholine, and dopamine work together to facilitate the ability to get focused, direct focus, and stay focused over time

Binaural beats (40 Hz), white noise, pink noise, and brown noise can enhance focus & more importantly, decrease the amount of time it takes to get into a focused state by ramping up neurochemicals

Blocking time: use ultradian cycles (90-minute bouts) for intensely focused sessions; assume it will take about 5-10 minutes to ease in and then ramp up; when finished, spend 10-30 minutes to deliberately defocus

Both things are true: fasted states and fed states (sufficient glucose but not overly stuffed belly) stimulate neuronal activity – leverage this and try one focused 90-minute bout in the morning (fasted) and another in the afternoon (fed)

Tip: leverage the benefits of stress through cold exposure – try a cold shower (uncomfortably cold but safe to stay in) for 1-5 minutes to increase epinephrine and dopamine in the brain and body to get the body into a focused state – the positive effects of epinephrine last up to an hour or more

The focus will drift unless you are an experienced meditator – the most important component of meditation is refocusing back to meditation and back to the breath – try 13 minutes per day

Meditation caveat: focused meditation in the 4 hours prior to bed actually hindered the ability to fall asleep and stay asleep

Using visual field to improve focus: set a timer for 30 seconds per day and try to focus on one object; keep adding 5 seconds per day looking directly at the location (be sure to blink!) – you can use this to help onramp into 90-minute focused bout

As always, start with behavioral tools (and dialing in sleep), then focus on nutrition, and try supplementation – when all else fails and you’ve consulted a doctor, lean on prescription drugs

Really sleep-deprived or having trouble focusing? Stack tools – for example, take a cold shower, leverage the visual field, and take alpha-GPC

4. Read Books

Here are some books I suggest you start reading that will build your knowledge in place of the experience you don’t have:

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene

The Way of The Superior Man by David Deida

Rational Male Book 1 by Rollo Tomasi

The Male Advantage by Kris Sturmey

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius

The Art of War by Sun Tzu

12 Rules For Life: An Antidote to Chaos by Jordan B. Peterson

Obesity Code by Dr. Jason Fung

Unscripted by MJ Demarco

The US Navy Seal Survival Handbook

The Obstacle is The Way by Ryan Holiday

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius

The Illustrated Art of Manliness: All Books by Brett McKay

The King, Warrior, Magician, and Lover by Robert Moore & Douglas Gillette

How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

Estrogeneration by Anthony G. Jay, Ph.D.

Ego is The Enemy by Ryan Holiday

Bushcraft 101 by Dave Canterbury

100 Deadly Skills by Clint Emerson, Former Navy Seal

4 Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss

The Unplugged Alpha by Richard Cooper

Outliers by Malcom Gladwell

$100mOffers by Alex Hormozi

These books are great and I suggest you read 10 pages a day and slowly build up to 20. These contain the experiences of more than 1,000 men.

Having their knowledge and being able to learn from their experiences is a blessing.

I’d recommend you start with The Male Advantage by Kris Sturmey.

It will show you your worth as a man and how to further build it. I rate it 10/10.

Body

1. Work out/Exercise

Principles Of Exercise & Fitness

The basic concepts of fitness are few, but the methods are vast

The 9 main concepts of training:

Skill

Speed

Power (function of speed and strength)

Strength

Hypertrophy (growing muscle mass)

Muscular endurance

Anaerobic power (ability to produce and sustain work in short bursts)

VO2 max (max heart rate)

Long-endurance (30+ minutes with no break)

There are a handful of things you have to do in order to make all of the main concepts work, but you will not see changes in any domain without progressive overload

Progressive overload: adaptation happens as a byproduct of stress – you have to push the system

If you do the same exercises over time, you will plateau

A progressive overload could be in the form of adding weights, adding repetitions, increasing frequency, varying complexity of movement

Here are the exercises we’ll focus on for the first year:

Push-ups or Bench presses: These work on the chest and arms. You can try multiple variations to suit you. If you are a beginner try Knee Push-ups

To begin, the push-up: Lie flat on the ground then push your body up without interfering with the natural curvature of the back.
To begin, the bench press: Find the weights, load them, lie on your back, unrack and pull towards your body as far as possible then push up from your body as far as possible and repeat.

Squats: This works the legs and the core(only slightly).
To begin, stand up straight, then go down to a squat position, and then come up. How deep you go depends on your capacity but ensure you try to go deeper and repeat.
To do this with weight simply depends on what kind of squat you are going to do. I recommend the back squat, whereby you load the weight to the back of your neck(wear thick clothing or place a hollow form then do a squat and repeat.

Deadlifts: This works the legs, back and core.
To begin, find weights, and place them near your feet while standing upright. Reach for the weights without bending your knees too much and bring them up until you are standing upright again then put them down and repeat.

Bent over rows or pull-ups: These work on the back and the arms
To begin find a strong sturdy vertical pole that is placed slightly above your reach. Hold it with 2 arms and bring your chin over the pole then slowly drop down and repeat.
To begin, find weights preferably a barbell or dumbbell, bend over extend your hands toward the floor while holding the weight then bring the weight to your chest then extend them back to the ground, and repeat.

Military Overhead press: This works on the shoulders giving you that large shoulder and making that sexy V that girls love.
To begin, find weights then bring them to your chest and push them upwards above your head then bring them down and repeat

Calve raises: This works on the calves
To begin: stand upright and stand on your toes like you are tiptoeing then come back to natural and repeat. You can add weights if desired.

Plank: This strengthens the core which is responsible for keeping your upper body straight and provides spinal cord support. It does a bunch of other things which I believe you should research
To begin lie flat on the ground then let your elbows and forearms touch the ground then lift and hold that position for a time.

Stretch

To start do 5 x 5 of each. That is 5 repetitions of 5 sets = 25 times if using weights. If using body weight do 5 x 10 = 50 times.

Do this 6 days a week unless you are over 35. If you are over 40 do 5 or 4 times a week.

Remember to set a rest day. Eat plenty of proteins and healthy fat. Increase weight, difficulty, intensity, or repetitions every week.

2. Diet

Increase your protein intake especially from meat, eggs, and fish to maximize protein synthesis: consume 1.6-2.6g/kilogram of lean body mass

There aren’t noticeable benefits to going beyond this range

Protein is also more satiating

Try fermented foods

Eat some dark and leafy vegetables

Have some fruit e.g. berries and watermelon

Limit refined carbs, sugar, and seed oils

Try fasting. Fasting puts the body into a mode of autophagy and conservation of resources which are beneficial to health

Try a ketogenic diet. Benefits of the ketogenic diet: influences neurotransmitter levels (particularly glutamate, GABA, adenosine), changes calcium channel regulation, changes gene expression, reduces brain inflammation, improves the health of the gut microbiome, improves insulin resistance and signaling

More extreme forms of fasting (24 hours, alternate day, etc.) have more noticeable effects on lean body mass than 16:8 fasting

Eating 2-3 high-quality protein meals per day will probably make more of a difference on lean body mass than time-restricted eating

Choose fasting depending on your goal: if you’re a high-level athlete or similar, it’s unlikely you’ll gain much intermittent fasting – if you want to maintain or lose weight and lose body fat, a 16:8 fast is fine to help control calories

Don’t snack

Spirit

This one is simple.

1. Pray every day when you wake up and go to sleep

This will help connect you to your Creator and have Him guide you.

3. Meditate

This will help clear your mind and bring peace.

4. Journal

This will help you chain your thoughts to the physical realm.

It will help you plan out life and it will be a reminder of all you haven’t achieved.

5. Help others

This will bring you down to earth and help you stay humble.

That’s it guys that’s the plan for this year.

I’ll post the next year’s plan before December.

For those who haven’t joined the group yet.

Here’s the link. It’s a limited-time offer. It will soon be closed and paid.

Wealth

If you are in a 9 - 5. Start investing. We are close to a recession. Learn stocks, crypto, REITs, real estate, precious metals, watches, timber, and such.

Learn investing. Keep money aside and do dollar cost averaging(Put some money into investments every month/week/day)

Invest a little now then go head-deep in the middle of the recession. Millionaires are made in the middle of recessions just like diamonds are made under pressure or men are made during storms.

Learn investing.

If you are jobless, spend most of your time learning and testing(practicing) new skills and stack money for investment.

If you are an Investor, keep going.

If you are a business owner/entrepreneur stack money for investments.

Some good investments:

Bitcoin

Ethereum

Small MarketCap Coins/Tokens

Gaming tokens

NFT tokens

We are just all men here doing our best to improve ourselves and those around us. Constant self-improvement is key.</p>
<p>With that said, here are 20 things I believe we(MEN) must do in 2022 to bolster our success. I&rsquo;ll keep it as brief as possible.</p>
<ol>
<li>Find mentors</li>
<li>Get in shape. “No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” - Socrates</li>
<li>Qualify women based on factors besides sex.</li>
<li>Make improvements but stay true to who you are.</li>
<li>Craft yourself into a leader.</li>
<li>Have an impact on the world. Leave a dent. &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t go silently into nothingness without a legacy&rdquo; - Stephen Ajulu</li>
<li>Start saving, investing, building, and making more money. &ldquo;Only women and pets are loved unconditionally. Men are loved based on what they can provide&rdquo; - Unknown</li>
<li>Talk to more people. Build a social life. Become more social.</li>
<li>Lead your friends! Lead them to self-improvement. Make them high-value men. Don&rsquo;t be quick to drop friends if they are low value.</li>
<li>Adopt a winner&rsquo;s mindset, a growth mindset, and an abundance mindset. There are enough resources for all of us. Did she dump you? Fine. Build your body, wealth and health then find someone better. Lost your job? Fine. Build your skills and find another one. Be in a state of constant growth.</li>
<li>Quit the victim mindset. No one will hand you anything in life and no one cares. You have to make lemonade with the lemons you have been handed. Don&rsquo;t play the victim. Don&rsquo;t be the victim.</li>
<li>Buy things. Ownership is key. Cut all the crap about renting. Buy property.</li>
<li>Do what scares you. The wise men say, &ldquo;Everything you want is on the other side of fear&rdquo;</li>
<li>Stop putting women on a pedestal and as your focus. You are the prize. Focus on building yourself and your legacy. A woman must never be your first, second, and even third focus unless she&rsquo;s your wife.</li>
<li>Women are naturally hypergamous. Learn this and red pill yourself. But don&rsquo;t hate them for it. It&rsquo;s their nature. Even in nature, females choose the man who can provide the most resources and protection. So instead of complaining and hating them, be the man who can provide the most resources and protection. This goes in tandem with no 7.</li>
<li>Become self-sufficient. Learn to be independent. Someone caused your business to go down? Be the kind of man who can start another one. Lost your job? Learn a skill then monetize. Never depend on anyone or anything. Become self-sufficient.</li>
<li>Identify your beliefs and stick to them</li>
<li>Inspire others. Look life is hard as it is. We all have different challenges but the fact remains, everyone has challenges. Be the kind of man who lifts people up. The one who inspires them to be more.</li>
<li>Take everything in life with a grain of salt.</li>
<li>Your life is 100% your responsibility. So act like it.</li>
<li>Bonus: Identify the things you value then protect them. I&rsquo;d suggest you list the 5 things you value most. Mine is 1. My God, 2. My Mission/Purpose/Self, 3. My Family, 4. My Assets, and 5. You Guys + My Closest Friends.</li>
<li>Bonus: Become dangerous. Learn how to hurt others but don&rsquo;t hurt others unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. &ldquo;A harmless man is not a virtuous man. It is the dangerous but civil and disciplined man that is virtuous&rdquo; - Jordan Peterson. &ldquo; Most often than not, it is the weak who pick fights, they are the ones constantly trying to prove their non-existent strength to others by picking on and bullying others. </ol>
<p>That&rsquo;s it, guys. And please implement. Don&rsquo;t be the guy who gets motivated for a day and then drops out.</p>

Look, guys, I’m in no way or shape better than you. We are just all men here doing our best to improve ourselves and those around us. Constant self-improvement is key.

With that said, here are 20 things I believe we(MEN) must do in 2022 to bolster our success. I’ll keep it as brief as possible.

Find mentors

Get in shape. “No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” - Socrates

Qualify women based on factors besides sex.

Make improvements but stay true to who you are.

Craft yourself into a leader.

Have an impact on the world. Leave a dent. “Don’t go silently into nothingness without a legacy” - Stephen Ajulu

Start saving, investing, building, and making more money. “Only women and pets are loved unconditionally. Men are loved based on what they can provide” - Unknown

Talk to more people. Build a social life. Become more social.

Lead your friends! Lead them to self-improvement. Make them high-value men. Don’t be quick to drop friends if they are low value.

Adopt a winner’s mindset, a growth mindset, and an abundance mindset. There are enough resources for all of us. Did she dump you? Fine. Build your body, wealth and health then find someone better. Lost your job? Fine. Build your skills and find another one. Be in a state of constant growth.

Quit the victim mindset. No one will hand you anything in life and no one cares. You have to make lemonade with the lemons you have been handed. Don’t play the victim. Don’t be the victim.

Buy things. Ownership is key. Cut all the crap about renting. Buy property.

Do what scares you. The wise men say, “Everything you want is on the other side of fear”

Stop putting women on a pedestal and as your focus. You are the prize. Focus on building yourself and your legacy. A woman must never be your first, second, and even third focus unless she’s your wife.

That’s it, guys. And please implement. Don’t be the guy who gets motivated for a day and then drops out.

The world needs you. It needs your ideas. It needs your energy. It needs you.

So go out there. Work on yourself. Protect the things you value. Leave your mark in this world. Love and be kind. Give when you can. Seek fulfillment over happiness. Be responsible. Stay Frosty. Greatness is coming!

I’ll soon be posting resources for men who want to be more real, more masculine, and 1% better every day. So stay tuned. Subscribe to my newsletter.

Testosterone is the lifeblood for men. Low testosterone can impact all areas of your life. You’ll have depression, become unable to get it up, lose ambition, become dull, have low libido, low mental performance, low memory, low metabolism, and the list goes on.

Today I want to cover how you can increase testosterone and feel GREAT! Feel masculine.

Simple steps. No bullsh*t. Coming from a guy who had hypogonadism.

First, get your levels checked. It’s a simple blood test. Remember to check FREE TESTOSTERONE. Relatively inexpensive, depending on where you get it done.

Eat more meat and eggs - Especially organic grass-fed fatty beef and organic eggs. I won’t go into the bro-science here as I believe this deserves its own article, which I’m working on. Just eat more meat and eggs. Grass-Fed Beef is one of the most nutritionally dense food on the planet plus it has zinc and fatty acids. Remember testosterone synthesis requires cholesterol! Even the end product: testosterone is for a lack of a better word “oily”. Let proteins make up half your plate. Organ meats are even better especially the liver. If you are feeling adventurous, eat the balls too!

Reduce running. Do sprints - I respect the runners out there but scientific studies have shown that sprinting can increase testosterone by 40%. So do regular sprints.

Lift heavy things - Lifting heavy weights/things has been shown to boost testosterone considerably. It’s why gym-goers are so muscular(Testosterone is vital in muscle building). I’d suggest compound workouts that hit multiple muscles and muscle groups at the same time. Remember you don’t have to go to the gym to build muscle. There are bodyweight exercises and random household objects e.g that 10 liter bottled water or that heavy shopping bag.

Get some sun, son! - Red light/infrared has been shown to boost testosterone by almost 60%. Plus Vitamin D is a requirement for testosterone synthesis. Get some sun and while you are at it sun your genitals/balls. This will drive up that percentage even more. Remember consistency is key. Just make sure you don’t get your little friends too hot as I’m sure you know high heat kills sperms.

Cold showers - There’s a reason why your 2 little friends hang on the outside. They can’t take the hit(sorry I meant heat but you know). Plus studies show that planned and timed exposure to stress(especially the cold) is, actually good for you. Men were meant to dominate. The more good things that stress you short term the better. You don’t want constant stress just a timed exposure. Constant stress leads to an increase in cortisol and that actually decreases testosterone.

Lose weight/fat - Especially around your midsection. Fat has something called “aromatase” that actually turns testosterone into estrogen and that is the worst thing that can happen to a man. Estrogen is fine in very low levels. Trust me, you don’t want this increasing. Lose weight bro! Build muscle. Muscle actually has the reverse effect. Yes everyone has abs but they are muscle, train them. Sprinting may help but you might have to start with running.

Avoid Soy, Phylates, BPA, and anything that starts with “Benzo” in your products

Cut out simple carbohydrates, replace them with complex carbohydrates and reduce carbs in general

Avoid sugar at all costs - I’ll cover why in an upcoming article.

Avoid processed food, “vegetable” oils, and wheat

Eat the right amount of dark leafy vegetables - A good rule of thumb is 1/4 of your plate.

Practice one of the following: Intermittent Fasting, One Meal A Day, One and A Half Meals A Day, or Two Meals A Day.

Finally nofap. Stop masturbating. It’s reducing your testosterone. Plus it dulls you. The eyes you get when you nofap/nonut is proof that withholding your semen actually increases your testosterone.

Last case scenario: Do Testosterone Replacement Therapy. If your levels are very low. It’s best to see a doctor, get a test done, and then commence treatment at once.

Low T is detrimental to men of all ages. It’s a silent killer. Fix it now with these steps. More T = Better life

NB: This article will trigger a lot of people. Continue reading if you would like to learn why and create your masculine character.

I’d like to begin by first defining masculinity. What it is and what it’s not according to me. Then I’ll cover the traits and characteristics you need to integrate and work on.

I believe greatness is coming to all the people who read this and understand it. Feel free to share your thoughts down below in the comments.

Masculinity

Masculinity is the lost art of being a strong, confident, intelligent, skillful, and manly character that is focused on the pursuit of an ultimate goal bigger than himself, women, and those around him.

Masculinity is not toxic, aggressive, and overly sexual. On the contrary, it’s a man who is in constant pursuit of things far greater than himself. Constantly improving himself and those around him. A true high-value man who is solving problems and creating things for the benefit of himself and others.

A man is destined to be a protector and provider. He understands his roles and follows the ways of his ancestors.

In this age of betas, white knights, simps, and soy boys, a masculine man sets himself apart by being a strong, charismatic, and useful member of society.

Tell me who are the first people to respond and react in times of danger? Who makes up the large percentage of protectors? Who provides the most? Who are the most willing to lay down their lives for others?

Never before has masculinity been this demonized. By no means am I saying that Toxic Masculinity doesn’t exist, what I am saying is that a large percentage of so-called feminists have bundled up good/necessary masculinity and toxic masculinity into one thing. Toxic Feminism has made attacking men/masculinity its sole purpose and they are winning! How do I know this? Look at the crime rates. Look at the no of fatherless children. These are the consequences of the erosion of masculinity.

But I like a quote by The Path To Manliness.

“When the barbarians are at the gates, suddenly masculinity is no longer toxic.”

How to create your own masculine character and live up to it

To create one, we first must know the characteristics of one. Here are a few examples. Remember we are working towards becoming a truly high-value man, not faking it. Go against the grain. Pick some characteristics, give yourself a time frame or a deadline then put in the work.

Physically, Emotionally and Mentally Strong

Intelligent and Highly Skilled

Calm, Collected, and Stoic

Having the ability to exercise extreme violence but remaining virtuous - A controlled monster. The true meaning of morality, virtue, and humility. Definition first coined by Jordan Peterson. A harmless person is not a virtuous person. When a harmless person tastes power, they cease to be virtuous as they become drunk with it and begin showing their true colors.

Self Control

A Risk Taker

Kind and Generous

Playful and Charismatic

Assertive and Dominant but not arrogant

Independence

Leadership

Ambition

Integrity

Socialized

Well Dressed and Groomed

Respectful

Dangerous

Focused

Sexual - At the appropriate time

Mysterious

Capable of transmuting sexual energy instead of spilling it carelessly

These are but a few examples. To create your own hyper-masculine character, I’d suggest you pick 5 then work on them.

Physical Strength and Virtue are a must. They ensure you are capable of protecting the things that are important to you without being a bully/brute. You don’t want to be a brute who bullies people in an attempt to garner respect. You want to be a protector. One who is naturally respected.

Skillfulness ensures you are capable of providing for your family.

Make sure that whatever you pick leads you down a path that will guarantee you can provide and protect. As these 2 things are key.

I am no different from beta males. Growing up mostly fatherless is hurting society.

But I am changing things, I am on the journey of becoming a masculine and high-value man. You have to remember it starts with you. Be the change you want to see in society. Don’t just spill your seed carelessly. The world doesn’t need more fatherless children, soy boys, betas, simps, and white knights.

It needs masculine role models willing to take the lead.

I am working on myself, constantly trying to put to death the less desirable traits within me. It’s a battle. But it’s one that I know I can win.

What about you?

I’d like to end with a quote: “Strong Men and Feminine Women Create Good Times, Good Times Create Soft Men and Masculine Women, Soft Men and Masculine Women Create Hard Times, and Repeat” It’s a modification of the original quote. Gender roles were created for a purpose. Find out what that purpose is and integrate. We are experiencing gender role reversal and it’s causing damage.

Share your thoughts in the comments and if this triggered you, I’d like to know why, so do due diligence.

And of course. Do due diligence, raise your testosterone, and research. I’ve written a plethora of articles that can help you in your journey. Go read them.

Have a great day!

<p>Here are 5 things you should do in order to set up your life for success and level up.</p>
<h2 id="1-workout-and-build-your-body">1. Workout and build your body</h2>
<p>It goes without saying that self mastery is key to growth.</p>
<p>So workout, build your body and be physically capable. This alone will separate you from 80% of the planet. Don&rsquo;t become comfortable being unfit and fat.</p>
<p>Adopt a growth mindset. Yes, you might be fat now but as long as you put in consistent effort, i can assure you that by the end of a month, the gains you&rsquo;ll be seeing will shoot up your testosterone and confidence.</p>

Hi men!

Here are 5 things you should do in order to set up your life for success and level up.

1. Workout and build your body

It goes without saying that self mastery is key to growth.

So workout, build your body and be physically capable. This alone will separate you from 80% of the planet. Don’t become comfortable being unfit and fat.

Adopt a growth mindset. Yes, you might be fat now but as long as you put in consistent effort, i can assure you that by the end of a month, the gains you’ll be seeing will shoot up your testosterone and confidence.

Plus, you’ll be better capable of attracting that girl you think is beyond your level. Think about it!

2. Chase success and fulfillment over women

Look, these girls aren’t going anywhere. Plus a recent study found that they want the top 10% of men. So instead of chasing a girl who might dump you for that rich bad boy. Become one yourself. Grind and hustle.

Build a set of marketable skills or better yet work on your own business. Build your dreams. You won’t regret it. Plus girls will be all over you once you succeed.

So work on yourself. Work on your dreams.

Now, I’m not saying “Stop looking, stop dating”. What I’m saying is let success be your primary goal.

My advice is this. Write down 5 things that are most valuable to you.

Here are mine, if you’d like an example.

God

Family

Wealth and Health(myself)

Friends

Women

Most of these women are hypergamous. So stop chasing them all over the place and start working primarily on you.

Chris Brown wasn’t kidding, “These hoes ain’t loyal”.

Advice: if you’ve got a girl and a kid, please do a DNA test. In a recent study, it was found that 9 out of 25 men are raising children that are not their own. To make this worse, most of these women knew the kid wasn’t there’s but because they needed a beta/simp who would provide, they lied. So before adding your name on the birth certificate, before marrying. If you have a kid with a girl. GET A DNA TEST! If you found out the kid isn’t yours, i suggest you leave but that decision is up to you.

And you better not forget to INVEST your money. I post articles for beginners on how to invest. There’s cryptocurrencies, stocks, NFTs, ETFs, bonds, bills, real estate and more. Pick some, research and invest. Simple

3. Seek God

Now, the only reason this is no 3 is because, i didn’t structure this list but men you need to seek God. You need spirituality.

4. Create/join a tribe

Guys, no man is an island, no man stands alone. I have to admit that i am having issues with this, seeing that i am an introvert with social anxiety but i am doing my best. So should you. And hey don’t just join any group. Join a tribe of Like Minded Individuals. Ask yourself this “Where do i see myself in the next 10/20 years?” then join a tribe of people with a similar answer or similar values or even better join a tribe of people who are already where you want to be.

5. Never stop learning

Learn more about:

Business

Redpill

Masculinity

Investing

Marketable skills

Female psychology

Money and Wealth

Nutrition for men(meat and eggs)

Solving problems

New technologies

There’s so much you can learn and do. Especially in this information age. Just do it.

Here comes a bonus:

6. Journal/Write

Please men, keep a journal. All great men, men of renowned wrote journals. Write down your thoughts in the morning and evening.

The mental clarity this will give you will leave you astonished wondering why you didn’t start early.

What is journaling you?

Journaling is the writing down of thoughts for present reflection and future reference.

Journaling allows you to organize your thoughts, document your goals, make life decisions, and even heal from past traumas. It’s truly a powerful tool that when incorporated into your regular routine can provide numerous benefits.

Why Should Men Journal?

Although many men may scoff at the thought of keeping a journal, many of the greatest visionaries in history had journals: Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla, and Ernest Hemingway to name a few. Not to mention the numerous benefits from journaling are well-documented.

Benefits of journaling

Here are some benefits of journaling

Manages stress

Gives you immortality

Allows introspection and reflection

Boosts your mood

Improves memory

Reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression

Anyway guys, that’s it for now. For those who learn and implement this, “Greatness is coming”.

The King energy is primal in all men.
In old civilizations and traditions, the king provides order, fertility, and blessing.

It bears the same relationship to the other three mature masculine potentials as the Divine Child does to the other three immature masculine energies.
It comes first in importance, and it underlies and includes the rest of the archetypes in perfect balance. The good and generative King is also a good Warrior, a positive Magician, and a great Lover. And yet, with most of us, the King comes on line last.
We could say that the King is the Divine Child, but seasoned and complex, wise. and in a sense as selfless as the Divine Child is cosmically self-involved.

The king is:

Centered

Decisive

A man of integrity

A protector of his realm

A provider

This is how the authors describe the king:

It stabilizes chaotic emotion and out-of-control behaviors. It gives stability and centeredness. It brings calm. And in its “fertilizing” and centeredness, it mediates vitality, life-force, and joy. It brings maintenance and balance. It defends our own sense of inner order, our own integrity of being and of purpose. our own central calmness about who we are, and our essential unassailability and certainty in our masculine identity. It looks upon the world with a firm but kindly eye. It sees others in all their weakness and in all their talent and worth. It honors them and promotes them. It guides them and nurtures them toward their own fullness of being. It is not envious. because it is secure, as the King, in its own worth. It rewards and encourages creativity in us and in others.

The King also embodies all the other masculine archetypes:

In its central incorporation and expression of the Warrior, it represents aggressive might when that is what is needed when order is threatened. It also has the power of inner authority. It knows and discerns (its Magician aspect) and acts out of this deep knowingness. It delights in us and in others (its Lover aspect) and shows this delight through words of authentic praise and concrete actions that enhance our lives.

The King Shadows

Tyrant: He is only destructive. He does so because. as we’ve said. he lacks inner structure. and he is afraid and terrified of his own hidden weakness and his underlying lack of potency.
He is very sensitive to criticism and, though putting on a threatening front, will at the slightest remark feel weak and deflated. He won’t show you this, however. What you will see, unless you know what to look for. is rage. But hidden behind the rage is a sense of worthlessness, of vulnerability and weakness.
The tyrant hates. fears, and envies new life, because he feels the new life is a threat to his slim grasp on his own kingship.

Weakling: The hidden presence of this passive pole explains the hunger for mirroring -for “Adore me!” “Worship me!” “See how important I am!”- that we feel from so many of our superiors and friends. This explains their angry outbursts and their attacks on those they see as weak that is those upon whom they project their own inner Weakling.

General Patton was a closeted weakling, say the authors.

Watch this scene:

Instead of reacting with the compassion of the life-giving King who knows what his men are up against, Patton flies into a rage and slaps the soldier across the face, calls him a coward. humiliates and abuses him, and sends him from the hospital to the from lines.
Though he does not know it. what he has seen is the face of his own hidden fear and weakness projected onto another. He has glimpsed the Weakling within.

And again, say the authors:

The heroic General Patton.
Though immensely imaginative, creative, and inspiring to his troops, at
least at times sabotaged himself with his risk-taking, his immature
competition with the British General Montgomery, and his insightful
but boyishly brash remarks.
Rather than being assigned a mission for which his true talent qualified him {to head the Allied invasion of Europe, for instance). He was sidelined precisely because he was a hero and not fully a warrior.

My Note: Eye-opening, stay away from gratuitous meanness

This was truly deep and insightful.
Be careful of men who are too mean and aggressive towards other people’s faults and weaknesses. Not only are they potentially hiding insecurities, but they are often poor leaders.

I often felt the same about general Mattis, who always loved to sound tough:

James Mattis: When you men get home and face an anti-war protester (..) shake his hand. Then, wink at his girlfriend because she knows she’s dating a pussy

#2. Warrior

The warrior:

Is efficient because he realizes how fragile and mortal he is

In addition to training, what enables a Warrior to reach clarity of thought is living with the awareness of his own imminent death. The Warrior knows the shortness of life and how fragile it is. A man under the guidance of the Warrior knows how few his days are. Rather than depressing him, this awareness leads him to an outpouring of life-force and to an intense experience of his life that is unknown to others. Every act counts.

The warrior raises above pettiness

The true Warrior rises above pettiness.
Says the authors:

Living in the light of lofty ideals and spiritual realities such as God. democracy, communism, freedom, or any other worthy transpersonal commitment so alters the focus of a man’s life that petty squabbling and personal. Ego concerns no longer matter much.

The warrior can be a destructive force. But it’s a destructive force for good

Say the authors:

The Warrior is often a destroyer.
But the positive Warrior energy destroys only what needs to be destroyed in order for something new and fresh, more alive and more virtuous to appear. Many things in our world need destroying-corruption, tyranny, oppression, despotic systems of government, corporate hierarchies may get in the way of the company’s performance (…).
And in the very act of destroying, often the Warrior energy
is building new civilizations, new commercial, artistic, and spiritual ventures for humankind.

For the warrior, women are just there to fulfill sexual needs

When the warrior is disconnected from the lover, women are just for fun, or to fulfill sexual needs.

Even the positive Warrior (the Warrior in his fullness) can be disastrous. As we have said the Warrior in his pure form is emotionally detached; his transpersonal loyalty radically relativizes the importance of his human relationships. This is apparent in the Warrior’s attitude toward sex.
Women, for the Warrior, are not for relating to, for being intimate with.
They are for fun.
(…)
Even if he has a family, the human warrior’s devotion to other duties often leads to marital problems.

Businesspeople consumed by work are also warriors

Say the authors:

This same thing occurs outside the military as well.
In the relationships and families of men whose professions call for a great deal of transpersonal devotion and long hours of disciplined work and self-sacrifice. Ministers, doctors. lawyers, politicians, dedicated salespeople, and many others often have emotionally devastating personal lives.
Their wives and girlfriends often feel alienated and rejected, competing hopelessly with the man’s “true love,” his work.
In addition these men, true to the Warrior’s sexual attitudes, often have affairs with their nurses, staffers, receptionists, secretaries, and other women who admire from a safe (sometimes not so safe) distance their masculine Warrior proficiency and dedication.

My Note: Great analysis, but flawed on the sexual side

Very, very good analysis.
Yet, it’s also flawed when it comes to sexual dynamics. The authors fail to realize that those men developed a drive to hard work because of the more sexual opportunities that the fruit of their work awarded them with.

But our society isn’t very welcoming of warriors

Say the authors:

We live in a time when people are generally uncomfortable with the
Warrior form of masculine energy, and for good reasons.
Women especially are uncomfortable with it since they have often
been the most direct victims of its shadow expressions.

The Warrior Shadows

Warriors that are completely unemotional or only destructive are poor and underdeveloped archetypes of masculinity.

The movie “The Great Santini” is an example of the shadow Warrior with too much aggression and too little emotional depth:

Say the authors:

Most of his remarks and behavior toward his wife and children are depreciating, critica, commanding, and designed to put distance between him and the family members, who keep trying to relate to him lovingly.
The destructiveness of this way of “relating” eventually becomes so obvious to everyone, especially to the older son, that there can no longer be any hiding from the fact that Santini’s sometimes violent behavior results from his own inability to be tender and genuinely intimate.

Many young men these days admire the wrong kind of warriors. Say the authors:

A contemporary image of the Warrior turned passionless killing machine is, of course, Darth Vader from the Star Wars saga. It is alarming how many boys and adolescents identify with him. In this same connection, it is also alarming how many of these young men become members of survivalist and neo-Nazi groups.

The Warrior as a destructive can overcome us when we are frightened or very angry, like in this scene from Apocalypse Now reference by the authors themselves:

And that’s the importance of inner mental control to be an effective and value-adding warrior.

Sadist: Though detachment in itself is not necessarily bad. as we’ve said. it does leave the door open to the “demon” of cruelty. Because he is so vulnerable in this area of relatedness. the man under the influence of the Warrior needs urgently to have his mind and his feelings under control-not repressed. but under control. Otherwise. cruelty will sneak in the back door when he’s not looking.
Far too often We see this same kind of sadism displayed in boot camp in the name of supposedly necessary “ritual humiliation” designed to
deprive recruits of their individuality and put them under the power of a transpersonal devotion. Far too often, the drill sergeant’s motives are the motives of the sadistic Warrior seeking to humiliate and violate the men put in his charge.

Masochist: the masochist is the “pushover” and “whipped puppy” that lies just beneath the Sadist’s rageful displays. The Masochist
projects Warrior energy onto others and causes a man to experience
himself as powerless. The man possessed by the Masochist is unable to
defend himself psychologically; he allows others (and himself) to push
him around.

Finally, say the authors:

If we are accessing the Warrior appropriately, we will be energetic, decisive, courageous, enduring, persevering, and loyal to some greater good beyond our own personal gain.
We will light good fights in order to make the world a better and more fulfilling place for everyone and everything. Our war making will be for the creation of the new, the just, and the free.

#3. Magician

The Magician is the knower, the one with technical expertise and knowledge of all kinds.

Write the authors:

The energies of the Magician archetype, wherever and whenever we encounter them, are twofold. The Magician is the knower and he is the master of technology. Furthermore, the man who is guided by the power of the Magician is able to fulfill these Magician functions in part by his use of ritual initiatory processes. He is the “ritual elder” who guides the processes of transformation.

This is the magician era, in a way, since it’s an era where technology is put to use to control our environment.
But it’s the other form of Magician energy that is in short supply, the one based on psychological and spiritual initiatory processes.

#4. Lover

The lover enjoys life’s pleasure and is comfortable in his own skin and own body.

But there is also something deeper about the lover and about his interconnectedness with the world.
Say the authors:

The Lover is deeply sensual-sensually aware and sensitive to the physical world in all its splendor. The Lover is related and connected to them all, drawn into them through his sensitivity.
His sensitivity leads him to feel compassionately and empathetically united with them. For the man accessing the Lover. all things are bound to each other.

But he is also a rebel:

The man under the influence of the Lover does not want to stop at socially created boundaries.
He stands against the artificiality of such things. His life is often unconventional and “messy”.

The major religions have always prosecuted the lover, say the authors.

The Lover Shadows

Addicted lover: the addictive personality that gets lots in short-term pleasure

Impotent lover: feel nothing, live in a muted world, and are chronically depressed

The Lover needs the Warrior in order to be able to act decisively, in order to detach from the web of immobilizing sensuality, and he needs the Magician to help him back off from the ensnaring effect of his emotions.

Boyhood Archetypes

Like for the masculine energies, the boy energies also overlap and inform each other.

All the shadow forms of the immature masculine can be carried over adulthood if they are not fixed.

Divine child

The divine child is the future king.

The shadows are:

High-chair tyrant: needs to learn that he’s not the center of the universe, and the people and the world do not exist to serve and glorify him

Weakling prince: the polar opposite of the high-chair tyrant. The Weakling Prince appears to have very little personality, no enthusiasm for life, and very little initiative. This is the boy who needs to be coddled, who dictates to those around him by his silence or his whining and complaining helplessness. He needs to be carried around on a pillow. Everything is too much for him. He rarely joins in children’s games: he has few friends; he doesn’t do well in school; he is frequently hypochondriacal; his slightest wish is his parents’ command; the whole family system revolves around his comfort. He reveals the dishonesty of his helplessness, however, in his daggerlike verbal assaults on his siblings, his biting sarcasm directed against them, and his patent manipulation of their feelings. Because he convinced his parents that he is a helpless victim of life and that others are picking on him, when a controversy arises between himself and a sibling, his parents tend to punish the sibling and excuse him.
Later, when he is an “adult” and functioning primarily under the dominance of the Weakling, his repressed grandiosity may explode to the surface, completely raw and primitive, completely unmodulated and very powerful. This is the man who seemed coolheaded and rational and “nice” but who, once he’s been promoted, suddenly becomes “a different person, “a little Hitler”. This is the man for whom the saying “Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely” is entirely accurate.

Precocious child

He is the future magician.

The Precocious Child manifests in a boy when he is eager to learn, when his mind is quickened. when he wants to share what he is learning with others.

The shadows are:

Know it all trickster: verbally abusive of others whom he regards as inferior. Carried over into adulthood, the man is cocky and smug, with a superior grin. But he can be good at pricking the bubbles of other big inflated egos. Also see the “smart alec” in the “archetypes of dominance“.

Dummy: like the Weakling Prince, lacks personality, vigor, and creativity. He seems unresponsive and dull. He can’t seem to learn his multiplication tables, count change, or tell time. The Dummy’s ineptitude, however. is frequently less than honest.
He may grasp far more than he shows, and his dummy behavior may mask a hidden grandiosity that feels itself too important (as well as too vulnerable) to come into the world. Thus, intimately intertwined with a secret Know-It-All, the Dummy is also a Trickster.

Oedipal Child

He is hte future lover.

He is passionate and has a sense of wonder and a deep appreciation for connectedness with his inner depths, with others, and with all things.
He is warm. related. and affectionate. He also expresses. through his experience of connectedness to Mother (the primal relationship for almost all of us), the origins of what we can call spirituality. T

his Mother is not his real, mortal mother.
She is bound to disappoint him much of the time in his need for connectedness and perfect or infinite, love and nurturing. Rather, the Mother that he is sensing beyond his own, beyond all the beauty and feeling (what the Greeks called eros) in the things of the world.

The shadows are:

Momma’s boy: tied to Mama’s apron strings.” He causes a boy to fantasize about marrying his mother, about taking her away from his father. in adulthood, he often gets caught up in chasing the beautiful, the poignant, the yearning for union with Mother from one woman to another. He can never be satisfied with a
mortal woman, because what he is seeking is the immortal Goddess. Here we have the Don Juan syndrome, The Oedipal Child, inflated beyond mortal dimensions, cannot be bound to one woman.

Dreamer: while other children are playing, he may sit on a rock. dreaming his dreams. He accomplishes little and appears withdrawn and depressed. Often his dreams rend to be melancholy, on the one hand, or highly idyllic and ethereal
on the other.

All the immature masculine energies are overly tied to Mother, and are deficient in their experience of the nurturing and mature masculine. But especially so is the Oedipal Child.

The Hero

He is the future warrior.

The “death” of the Hero in the life of a boy (or a man) really means that he has finally encountered his limitations. He has met the enemy, and the enemy is himself. He has met his own dark side, his very unheroic side.

The “death” of the Hero signals a boy’s or man’s encounter with true humility.

The shadows are:

Grandstander bully: The boy (or man) under the power of the Bully intends to impress others. His strategies are designed to proclaim his superiority and his right to dominate those around him. He claims center stage as his birthright. If ever his claims to special status are challenged, watch the ensuing rageful displays! is not a ream player. He is a loner, a hot-shot junior executive, salesman, revolutionary, stock market manipulator. He’s the soldier who takes unnecessary risks in combat and, if he’s in a position of leadership, requires the same of his men (these are the officers who get “dragged“).

Coward: shows an extreme reluctance to stand up for himself in physical confrontations. He will usually run away from a fight. perhaps excusing himself by claiming that it is more “manly” to walk away. But he will feel wretched in spite of his excuses. It is not only physical fights he will avoid. however. He will tend to allow himself to be bullied emotionally and intellectually as well.

Say the authors:

And all three energies give rise to the Hero, which breaks them free of the domination of the “feminine” unconscious and establishes the boy’s identity as a separate individual. The Hero prepares the boy to become a man.

But the Hero still needs to grow and mature:

The Hero is, in fact. only an advanced form of Boy psychology-the most advanced form. The peak, actually, of the masculine energies of the boy, the archetype that characterizes the best in the adolescent stage of development. Yet it is immature. and when it is carried over into adulthood as the governing archetype, it blocks men from full maturity.

First I’d like to begin with a quote from Hafeez from The Roommates.

The goal of every man should be to constantly improve himself physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially.

Every man should be in a perpetual state of leveling up/self improvement until he takes his last breath

A month ago I was stuck, stuck in life, my finances weren’t improving, my health was declining, I hated myself and I started to hate the world and even God. I spent most of my days constantly complaining, hating myself, and watching anime. But recently I decided to change, I did my research and began taking steps to actively solve my problems. Here’s how you can do the same.

1. Wake up early

Waking up early gives you the time to improve yourself. It gives you time to recover the lost time you spent being average/mediocre. Set a time you feel comfortable, don’t go cold turkey on this otherwise, you will fail. If you wake up at 9, start waking up at 8:30 am if you wake up at 7, start at 6:30 am, and so on. I was brought up in an African home so I used to wake up at 7 every day from as far as I can remember and on school days I would wake up at 5 am, so I had to shift to waking up at 6:30, now I can wake up at 4:40. Once you can wake up automatically at this time, or you are comfortable deduct another 30 mins do that until you can wake up at 5 or 5:30 am. Now don’t stay in bed. The moment the alarm sounds, count to 5 and wake up whether you like it or not. Implement the 5 count rule, where if you don’t want to do something that you know is beneficial count to 5 then do it.

2. Benediction/Meditation

I’d suggest you pray if you are a Christian(like me), Muslim, Hindu, and all other religions. Talk to your God. Read His Word. I believe my God is the greatest, that doesn’t mean I want to fight you or hate you just because you worship a different god. If you don’t believe in God then I suggest you meditate though it would be better to become a Christian. #nohateordiscrimination

3. Work out

Try something simple for 1 month like Pushups(even inclined if you can’t do the regular version), squats, and leg raises with your stomach in.

I’d suggest you do this in 10 increments. Start with 10 on the first day, then 20 on the 2nd then 30, and so on. Keep raising it until you ABSOLUTELY can not finish the workout, don’t be afraid to rest in between reps as long as the rest doesn’t exceed 3 minutes. If you’ve reached your limit where you can no longer do more reps each day. Go back to 10. I started this on 1st, am at 60 reps. Feel free to do more if you’d like but make sure you do these 3 every single day, no rest days. Once you are on your 10th day, add calve raises, crunches, and dips. On your 20th incorporate 3 new exercises that hit the group of muscles that squats, pushups, and leg raises hit. On the 30th day add 3 new exercises + bridges. I now do push-ups(chest and arms), leg raises(abs), squats(legs), bridges(but), calve raises(calves), and dips(triceps). Once you reach 50 add planks(50 seconds). 100? you can take a day off every week. Hit 500? take 3 days break. Hit 600? start all over with more complex workouts.

I’m no physical fitness expert. These exercises are meant to be simple that you can perform every single day without a gym.

4. Read

I suggest reading 10 pages a day. Start with self-help books. I recommended some in a previous post.

Also Read:

You can even try audiobooks and summaries. There’s a guy on YouTube who makes great summaries: One Percent Better, search and try ‘The Rational Male" summary.

5. Define your purpose/passion and visualize

All men require a passion or purpose. If you have none, create one out of the things you like and love. Mine is building meaningful products that each tackle a problem in the world. I lost this during the depression I was in but I redefined it.

So write down your purpose/passion then write down what is necessary to achieve it. Dream big bro. Don’t limit yourself. Once you have the requirements necessary to reach it, phrase them in 3 months time, 6 months time, a years time, 5 years time, 10 years time, and 30 years time. Here is where you need to be realistic. You can’t be a millionaire in 3 months unless you have a millionaire backing you. Work tirelessly to meet these goals.

Now if you have a purpose, visualize yourself accomplished. Think about how great it would feel and what you would have if this purpose is realized. Use your mind’s eye and creativity. It might be helpful to build a visualization board that contains photo snippets of how you want to look, what you want to own, and how you want to feel. Use Canva, Spark Post, Photoshop, or even Microsoft Word to build it then print it and stick it somewhere within your field of vision where you can look at it almost all the time before and after sleeping.

QUICK TIP: DON’T LET YOUR GOAL BE MONEY. INSTEAD, FIND SOMETHING THAT CAN PROVIDE VALUE TO OTHERS AT THE SAME TIME BRINGING YOU MONEY AND SATISFACTION.

Money chasers die without actualizing their dream. Greed will kill you.

P.S: I’m not saying that you shouldn’t chase money, just don’t let it be all you chase.

7. Eat clean and healthy

As my teacher: Amerix always says:

If it is packed in a box, is fortified, is promoted by marketers, if marketers tell you “it is healthy”, if your great grandfather doesn’t recognize it. DON’T EAT IT!

I would suggest you go for Low/NO Sugar, No Soy, Moderate Sodium, High Fat, Low Carbs, More Veggies, More Meat, More Water, More Fiber, and Less Frequently

Sugar is very bad and harmful to your health. Phase it out.

Soy kills sperms, reduces testosterone, and creates estrogen. Go cold turkey.

Sodium is an electrolyte, use it moderately but don’t remove it completely.

Fat is very good for you, it doesn’t make you fat and it is used to build testosterone the primary male hormone responsible for spermatogenesis(production of sperm), muscle mass, health, and well-being. Skip “vegetable oils/butter/fat”, they are unhealthy and harmful. Go for butter, lard, coconut, or olive oil. Add it!

Eat fewer carbs and only eat unrefined that’s fibrous e.g. beans, pumpkins, veggies. Minimize starchy unrefined carbs like sweet potatoes and arrowroots. Remove all refined carbs like maize/wheat flour, soda, fruit juices, sugar. Reduce it.

Vegetables are healthy and good for you. This is a no-brainer. Increase it.

Meat is absolutely important. Go for “natural” meat or otherwise know as grass-fed meat. Skip sausages and anything you can’t make yourself with natural ingredients(avoid soy sauce). Increase it.

Water is a no-brainer. Drink lots but modulate, there’s such a thing as water toxicity/intoxication and hyponatremia(low electrolytes due to “flashing” caused by a water and electrolyte imbalance. If you experience nausea, vomiting, cramps, and fatigue after drinking a lot of water lick some salt.) Remember the body knows how much water it needs. Drink two glasses of water in the morning right after waking up. Modulate it.

Eat less frequently. Science has found correlations between long life spans and low frequency of eating. I suggest eating once a day, one and a half times a day or employing Intermittent Fasting. On Wednesdays eat supper early at 6 pm then skip meals till Friday at 7 pm, this is called Autophagy. Research! Reduce Frequency but Eat More.

8. Write

Writing has serious mental health benefits even if it’s not journaling + if you keep a blog like this, it can eventually grow to become a passive income source. Start by writing things you are grateful for then move to a journal then try blogging or you could do the process in reverse. Need a blog? Contact me and I’ll build one for you in less than a day. Contact me: alunje73@gmail.com to get a blog at very affordable prices, if you would like it with a custom domain name you may have to pay slightly more but you can always start with something like “aramsblog.netlify.app”.

9. Get a job or build a business

You need to get your finances in order once your mind and body are in order. Find a job or build a business around something you are competent or love. I am building my own business as I look for jobs. if I get blessed with a job, great, if my business succeeds even better, I’ve always wanted to employ myself since I was young. I had a business mindset but I wouldn’t turn away a job. I’d still be happy.

Whatever comes first!

10. Find good friends

I have never been good at making friends, I first had social anxiety before becoming introverted. I don’t necessarily like being an introvert but I don’t hate it either, the best way I’d describe it is a “tussle” between love and hate. But I am blessed to have friends with equally crazy dreams and we push each other forward. Find a good group of friends specifically male friends who will push you as you push them, who will be there for you when the challenges of life exceed your strength. Find trustworthy ones. Test them. For example, one day scare them with the “Hi, kindly help me, I’m in jail and I need bail” text. Some will genuinely not have enough money to support you others will support you, many will lie or laugh at you. Trust your gut.

11. Trust your instinct/gut

Look, many times your gut will tell you that your girl is cheating or something along those lines, many times we let our emotions rule us and dismiss this feeling. Look you are a man, if your gut tells you she’s cheating, confront her, go through her phone, remember in exchange for your love, attention, provision, penetration, and leadership she gives you her freedom and love(don’t be controlling), go through her phone, questions her, most of the time, it’s you brain that notices small cues like her putting a little more work towards her outfit and makeup just to meet the “girls” or she’s restricting sex. These are red flags. Your brain picks them up subconsciously then your gut brings them to the conscious mind. Don’t let emotions or even logic rule over you. If your gut brings something up, investigate get to the root cause until it stops or you find out something is wrong. This applies to friends. Your gut isn’t always right but it’s almost always right.

12. Dress and groom yourself

Look, you can’t be a 10 without putting more work into how you look. Go to Pinterest, check up on some men’s styles, and pick one of your preferences. Stick to it, if you get bored, go back to Pinterest, choose another. Guys level up your wardrobe. Remove graphic tees in favor of plain ones. If you are above 25 starts including some suits, cardigans, and more adult “stuff” while still keeping youthful clothing. When you approach 30 start phasing those out slowly. I’d suggest you start with essentials, speaking of essentials, try out my sponsor ESNTLS, I have a 10% Off deal with them go pick up a few stuff there and integrate it into your wardrobe. Here’s a link with the 10% discount already applied: ESNTLS, pick up some shades/glasses too: JadeBlack same 10% off deal. Would you like to smell good too? Try Santa Lucia Fragrance, same 10% off. Remember using skin products is not effeminate. But keep them to a minimal ( Hint: if you have more skincare products than your girlfriend, tone it down)

13. Be more assertive

You gotta stand up for yourself man! I suggest you use the No, Yes rule where you first say no, then think about it then say Yes. I recently got myself into some huge mess that had me paying some money every single month, I didn’t want to but because I wanted to be respectful and “nice” I agreed, now I regret doing it don’t be like me. Say no then yes. Don’t be a “nice” guy. In fact let me give you a secret, have you ever wondered why women go after bad boys? It’s because they are assertive, they don’t take or make excuses, she failed to show up to your date? Time her out and find other women. She did something wrong to you? Withdraw your attention from her and give it to other women who value it. Kill oneitis bro. Be assertive. You are the prize. Value yourself. If she cheats, forgive her and move on, don’t accept back a hoe, she will walk all over you and cheat again. Value yourself. Value your time. There’s plenty of fish in the sea. Don’t waste your time. Don’t be a nice guy, if she does something that upsets you, tell her, don’t shout just tell her. Bro, you deserve much better. Listen to this fact: If she is withholding sex when you want it, dump her and move on(unless there’s a valid reason) because women who love and want you will want to have sex with you. So stand up for yourself and be assertive.

14. Invest in yourself

Guys, think long-term. Start investing in stocks, money market funds, cryptocurrencies, index funds, ETFs, bills, bonds, and yourself. Create an emergency fund capable of taking you 12 months when you have no job or income. Remember women want men with resources. But don’t do this for them, do it for you. Guys, I’ve posted several articles on investing. Go read them.

The man who can not learn get’s left behind.

Don’t wait to be spoon-fed. Actively research things that will help you.

15. Red pill yourself

The benefits are written all over the internet, research.

17. Amass Knowledge, Skills, Money, and Intelligence

No-brainer no 2. Grow and focus on yourself and your family. To quote the famous Chris Brown quote

These hoes ain’t loyal.

Bros, be careful some women only want your money and good genes, others have been found impregnating themselves with semen in a condom. Flush those things down after use.

It won’t kill you to stay single and celibate

As I keep repeating focus on yourself and your family. These hoes ain’t loyal. A woman will never love you the way you want to be loved. There are good women out there but remember women are governed by their emotions, one day she’s fine and the next she’s killing you slowly with poison just to get her hands on your hard-earned money. Focus bro!

Read the books recommended in step one. Take a look at my other articles. Women want an assertive, dominant, resourceful, alpha male who can lead and provide but can still hunker down and settle/commit. Don’t be in a hurry to marry. Survey the market, don’t lower your standards for anyone.

REMEMBER: YOU ARE LIKE FINE WINE, THE OLDER YOU GET THE BETTER YOU TASTE, BUT SHE’S LIKE FRUIT JUICE, OVER TIME SHE LOSES HER TASTE.

In conclusion: Girls become women once they are able to bear children, boys become men once they are “initiated” or once they met certain requirements.

Bonus: 18. Gain the abundance mindset

Gain the abundance mindset whether it is in dating, money, and more.

Did she break up with you? There’s plenty of fish in the sea. Did she cheat? Read answer 1. Did you miss a job? Keep looking, that wasn’t for you.

Remember there’s enough of everything to go around. Don’t settle on one thing or one missed opportunity. Bounce back.

For those in this journey with me: Greatness is Coming! Look Forward. Shoulders Back and Chest Puffed Up!
